J107 - Tawas year-end update

Whilst progress at Tawas station is slower than sister station Gek Poh being built under the same contract, there have been significant changes to the site. Station piers are now clearly visible and have been cast to the concourse level height. However, there are still no viaduct piers visible in the area. Nonetheless, when compared with images from a year prior, there has been significant change from the empty vacant land that was there formerly.

In the coming year, one should expect that viaduct piers will begin to pop up as the station gets further completed. Do stay tuned as we continue to bring you updates on the various rail construction projects to wrap the year up!
