Bahar Junction is a complicated station through and through. No aspect of it is easy - be it at either the construction or revenue operations stages being one of the first T-junction stations on a single service. The site is labyrinth of road diversions, lane re-markings and construction. Most of the works are focused on utility diversion and station foundation works. Up to recently, there were no signs of any station supporting piers.

Utility diversion works should complete in the coming year, allowing for the station construction to proceed accordingly. Currently, most of the works are centred along Jurong West Avenue 2 but works should also move to include Jurong West Streets 64 and 75. Do stay tuned as we bring you updates on the various rail construction sites to wrap up 2022.
