Virtual Project Information Centre

Inaugural JRL newsletter - Issue 01 May 2022

Recently, we came across several renders of the Jurong Region Line (JRL) stations that we hadn't seen before. These were released by the Land Transport Authority (LTA) & JRL Contractors as part of their Project Information Panels and also an inaugural e-newsletter for JRL (read it here). Typically these panels are found at Project Information Centres (PICs), but we have noted that there is no news of any PIC for the JRL although we had heard that there might potentially have been one located at the Boon Lay offices. Nonetheless, its been quiet on that front.

The team behind Jurong Region Line Construction is proud to bring you SG MRT Construction (SgMC), an Instagram page that will allow us to bring you more frequent, bite-sized, image-driven updates!

SgMC will complement our existing blogs, allowing the team to offer more timely updates, and even content that may not constitute a full blog post.

Through stories & highlights, we want to bring you snappy pictorial [maybe even a video or two :) ] updates on the various rail lines, including the existing lines that we do not previously cover on the blogs.

Each Instagram post will carry a unique frame design, for ease of distinguishing updates on different lines and stages.

We also want to interact more with you, our dear reader! Slide into our DMs with your photos, videos, and tipoffs - we would love to hear from and feature you :)

We are also planning an IG story engagement this national day holiday, so do join us then! Check back for more deets as they drop soon.

Fret not, the blogs are here to stay. They'll carry more detailed writeups and deep dives. Do continue to visit for the full deets - we will cross post updates across both platforms.

So do drop by SgMC on Instagram - you can view it on a web browser too if you do not have an Instagram account - and follow us for a new way of connecting & receiving updates.
