Tengah Plantation station under contract J108 has been progressing steadily since we found a good vantage point from which to view the station earlier this year in June. In our previous visit to Boon Lay, we covered the preparations for the road diversion. Last weekend, the road was again shifted, but away from the temporary split configuration. Both bounds are now back together again, side by side. This shift will allow the former location of the roadway to be transformed into a work site to enable the construction of the Jurong Region Line (JRL) station above.

Works at Gek Poh station have been progressing steadily since our last visit here almost half a year ago. Foundation pits can be seen dug for the installation of bored piles that will serve to support the station piers located in the road median. Further up north, the former Pioneer Primary School site can be seen cleared to allow a clear path towards Tawas station.
