Overview of JRL stations JS1 - JS8 as of November 2025. |
It's been a while since we've done a Snapshot feature for the Jurong Region Line (JRL), with the last being done in September 2025. Since then, we've had the chance to visit the various sites again after a brief hiatus in October (you know, life gets busy). Here are some of the highlights, each of which could be their own headline, from the month of November:
- Completion of viaduct span construction for Phase 1
- Commencement of noise barrier installation along Phase 1 reaches more locations
- Roofing works commences along Phase 3 (South)
The first of these headlines is significant, as it means that rail laying works can commence across the entire Phase 1 of the line. In fact, this has largely commenced as you'll come to see later on. Viaduct span construction is still ongoing along various parts of Phase 2 and 3. In total, 9 contracts have completed viaduct span construction works from a total of 13, bringing completion by contract to approximately 69%.
With so much activity taking place and progress being made, we'll dive deeper into the short updates across the various phases.
