A recent contract has been called for the development of the Choa Chu Kang bus interchange on a new site behind Lot 1 shopping centre.

We believe that the shifting of the bus interchange will eventually make way for the Jurong Region Line (JRL) Choa Chu Kang station. The station will occupy part of the site where the existing bus interchange currently sits. With the bus interchange relocated, this will provide easy access to Choa Chu Kang Avenue 3 from the MRT/LRT station where the JRL station will be located to offer transfer access to the North South Line and Bukit Panjang LRT.

As we head towards the announcement of Tengah estate in a couple days' time, we look forward to the impending announcement of the JRL.
