Pre-construction - Pandan Reservoir

Pandan Reservoir station is located at the southern end of the Jurong Region Line's east route. It serves both Teban Gardens and Pandan Gardens estate on either side of the terminus.

foreground.

The site of the future station is currently state land, however it is zoned for future residential development. The existing Teban Gardens estate is some distance away from where the station is to be located, thus having the surrounding area developed as residential plots will bring the estate closer to the station. Hopefully, covered walkways will be provided through the residential blocks that come up allowing a sheltered through fare to be provided for residents.

For residents of Pandan Gardens, a pedestrian bridge is envisioned to cross Jurong Town Hall Road to enable access to the station for the residents of the estate. Connectivity for the area will definitely be boosted with the completion of the station here.

  1. How many stations do you think will be build between Pandan Gardens to Haw Par Villa for the future JRL extension? Any idea when will it be opened? How will the JRL be connected to the CCL or passengers will have to tap out before taping in again? (i.e. Bukit Panjang, Newton, Tampines etc)
