Pre-construction - Enterprise, Tukang, Jurong Hill & Jurong Pier

Several of the stations along the Jurong Region Line (JRL) serve the Jurong Industrial Estate. These stations - Enterprise, Tukang, Jurong Hill and Jurong Pier - will be built and commence operation under the third phase of the line in 2028.

Enterprise
Located near the Chin Bee Drive factories along Jalan Boon Lay, currently the area is a dual carriageway road. The station should be located along the road median with minimal impact to road lanes during construction.

Tukang
Tukang station is located further south from Enterprise, also along a dual carriageway and located in the road median. The area here is more open and less developed than along Enterprise station.

Jurong Hill
Jurong Hill station is located along Jurong Pier Road, bounded by factories on one side and Jurong Hill on the other. To the south of the station lies the Jurong Pier flyover, which constrains the station site further. As such, this station will feature side platforms and is likely to be built in the road median.

Jurong Pier
As the final station on the southern branch of the west route, this station will be a future gateway to Jurong Island. Coupled with the future Cross Island Line station, it will enable transfers between the two lines as well. The station will be located next to the iconic Jurong Pier flyover, a site which is currently a parking area for industrial vehicles.

  1. I wish that LTA could have further extended the JRL to the Jurong Island, passengers will have to alight at this station before clearing the customs and board a bus to the island. Having a direct rail access will save more times for the commuters.
