May has been a busy month for the various contracts of the Jurong Region Line (JRL). Each of the contracts has seen progress made with things beginning to pick up speed over at phase 1 of the line. Some changes are more visible than others and we're here to provide you with an extensive low-down of all the progress made. Loads of images after the jump for this month's update.

J111 - Enterprise & Tukang update Q1 2024

21 March 2024 - A view northwards along Jalan Boon Lay of the southern approach to
Enterprise station in end-Q1.

21 March 2024 - A view northwards along Jalan Boon Lay of the Tukang station site in end-Q1.

Phase 3 of the Jurong Region Line (JRL) is probably one of the least inspiring sections due to its remote location in serving largely industrial areas. Nonetheless, we'll breeze through an update on this section for you to get an idea of how works are coming along on the southern section. Kicking off our phase 3 updates for Q1 2024 is none other than contract J111 for the construction of Enterprise and Tukang stations. Thus far, all the action seems to be taking place at Enterprise station with the viaduct pier columns becoming visible here while Tukang station still tackles bored piling works - rather, well, boring.

Contract J106 entails the construction of Toh Guan, Jurong Town Hall and Pandan Reservoir stations. At Jurong Town Hall however, things were a little slower with casting work continuing over at the concourse level slab. Pandan Reservoir station saw similar progress, with work still mostly focused on the street level foundations and underfloor cable troughs. We'll dive deeper into the works at the various sites under the contract.

Nonetheless, we're here to give you the usual low down on the sites that we did visit for April. Take a look at all the details after the jump.
