November has been a busy month for all Jurong Region Line (JRL) contractors. A fair number of viaduct spans have been completed in the past month and station construction has come some way along with several stations moving to work on the platform levels. Here's a look back at the November snapshot of work progress on the line.

Tengah depot (Contract J101)
In a nutshell: Several more structures can be seen taking shape at the site - near the front of the depot site a building has come up near the substation, potentially an admin building. The substation has also begun cladding works.

JS1 - Choa Chu Kang (Contract J102)
In a nutshell: Progress has been made for both station and viaduct piers. Most of the station piers have now reached to platform level while viaduct piers have made progress with crosshead casting.

JS2 - Choa Chu Kang West (Contract J102)
In a nutshell: Most of the piers along Choa Chu Kang Avenue 3 have now been cast, with a few more to go at the corner where it runs parallel to the existing North-South Line (NSL) & Bukit Panjang LRT tracks. For piers that have been cast, crosshead construction is taking place progressively.

JS2A - Forest Hill (Contract J102, provisional future station)
In a nutshell: Launch gantry Mulan has been relocated from Tengah junction here and will likely traverse across Choa Chu Kang Avenue 3.

JS3 - Tengah (Contract J102)
In a nutshell: Viaduct construction is inching closer to the station, whose view is very obstructed these days. Construction is now in the vicinity of where the two routes stack over each other with portal piers.

JS4 - Hong Kah (Contract J103)
In a nutshell: Work has finally progressed to the concourse slab level.

JS5 - Corporation (Contract J103)
In a nutshell: Work is progressing with the casting of the concourse level station columns that will support the platform and trackbed. The launch gantry for the contract has been lifted into place and commenced operations.

JS6 - Jurong West (Contract J105)
In a nutshell: Most of the station's concourse level crossheads have been completed, with about 1 or 2 left to be cast. A trestle has been assembled to launch viaduct segments for one of the movement & expansion joint piers as the balanced cantilevered method does not work for such piers.

JS7 - Bahar Junction (Contract J105)
In a nutshell: Work has been ongoing for the casting of the satellite station's crossheads. Viaduct piers that support the Choa Chu Kang-bound track's 90-degree turn into the main station are also visible.

JS8 - Boon Lay (Contract J106)
In a nutshell: Two piers have had the prefabricated crossheads fully assembled while a third is having the supporting frame installed. Work is progressing quickly at both the station and viaduct.

In a nutshell: Installation of the precast beams that will form the concourse level has begun at the northern end of the station.

In a nutshell: Work on casting the trackbed supports at platform level is underway.

JE1 - Tengah Plantation (Contract J108)
In a nutshell: Its a race against the clock to complete the concourse level slab so that the road below can open this month for the bus service extensions to serve residents at Tengah Plantation Grange precinct.

In a nutshell: Station works have progressed to the concourse slab level.

In a nutshell: The Pandan Reservoir-bound piers can be seen though the Tengah-bound piers at the station have yet to appear.

JE4 - Toh Guan (Contract J109)
In a nutshell: The base of several piers can be seen rising upwards while foundation works are in progress for the piers closer towards Jurong East. A lifting frame was being assembled next to the Pan Island Expressway (PIE) as well.

In a nutshell: Rebar and formwork was still being installed at the first span under construction. Concrete pouring had not yet commenced.

In a nutshell: The station structure was slowly beginning to climb upwards. Components of a launch gantry were also being stored on site.

JE7 - Pandan Reservoir (Contract J107)
In a nutshell: The station structure was still focused on the cable troughs at street/ground level. Further along, the base of piers that would support the end of the line were taking shape, including for the future provision turnout towards the reservoir.

In a nutshell: Several piers were under construction in the vicinity of the station site.

In a nutshell: A new road diversion has been implemented, allowing the road median to be used for construction work. Preparatory works are underway to facilitate foundation work for the station piers.

In a nutshell: The station structure is slowly coming along with the base structures visible.

JW3 - Nanyang Gateway (Contract J113)
In a nutshell: Station construction is a fair bit slower compared to viaduct construction. The station site still appears bare with a recent load test being conducted. Towards the corner coming in from Tawas station, several viaduct piers are in various stages of construction with most not yet having the crown cast.

JW4 - Nanyang Crescent (Contract J113)
In a nutshell: Work has begun on removing soil from the existing hillock to make way for the station's construction. Several more viaduct piers are visible with crosshead construction underway. Preparations were being made for the shifting of an existing bus stop to make way for viaduct pier construction outside the School of Art, Design & Media building.

In a nutshell: Machinery was on site to level the ground at the station site before work begins on the foundation.
