Pre-construction - Corporation

The area where Corporation station is to be built is currently a semi-developed area. On one side sits the Jurong West estate and former campus of Jurong Junior College, while the other is currently a green field which will be developed in time to come. The station will cater to this future development as well as the residential precinct nearby and the redeveloped campus of Jurong Junior College - it was recently announced that the campus will be rebuilt and the Jurong-Pioneer Junior College would shift to this location. Like with other rail projects, the trees lining Jurong West Avenue 2 would likely be removed or pruned to make way for the construction of the line.
