20 May 2023

While work at contract J109's Jurong Town Hall station site has been progressing, the rate at which it has been doing so is a little slow. Over the past quarter - Q2 of 2023 - there have not been many noticeable differences. We begin our Q2 review of this Jurong Region Line (JRL) station with a look back at the site towards the end of Q1 to jog our memories on how the site looked then.

Work has progressed mostly at the station area. At the end of 2022, the beginnings of the station were only beginning to become apparent. With the footings completed, rebar installation work has gained some traction with the beams becoming more visible in comparison to the end of last year. Some diversion work has also commenced along Jurong Town Hall as work progresses beyond the station site.

will facilitate works in the road median.
