J108 - Tengah Plantation coming up

9 January 2023 - The concourse level crosshead wrapped in blue construction netting.

 Tengah Plantation station under contract J108 is one of the quickly up and coming stations on the Jurong Region Line (JRL). As of 9 January 2023, the crossheads for the concourse level are being constructed along with some columns that will support the track beds. During the recent ground breaking & viaduct construction segment launching ceremony held by the Land Transport Authority (LTA) on 13 January 2023, several images were released showing several cross sections of the JRL stations. One design in particular, shows a station within a road median - similar to the design that will be used at Tengah Plantation station.

With viaduct construction underway, and an almost full span completed along Bukit Batok Road, contractors John Holland & McConnell Dowell are certainly wasting no time in getting things done. We wish the team a safe 2023 and look forward to the upcoming progress.
